Matthew | Custom handmade teddy bear created for cureAHC - Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood
Matthew Bear is named after a very special little boy who suffers from Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood.
Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) is a debilitating condition for which there is no cure. The symptoms include those similar to cerebral palsy, austism, ADHD combined and at least half the children suffer with epilepsy also. Intermittent paralysis that lasts for varying timeframes up to days is also evident. There is no cure or treatment for it, making it extremely debilitating.
Matthew Bear is a cheery fellow. He is made of the softest sheepskin colored fur. He wears the Cure AHC logo on his chest with its beautiful color spectrum. His bow tie and lettering on his foot are a sunny orange. He is 16 inches tall and his arms and legs are jointed so he can sit by himself. Matthew Bear consists of safety joints, eyes and nose and is metal free. Personalization can be added to the bear's flank as an optional extra.
This base price includes a 25% donation to Cure AHC.
